On the one side, the game was actually quite refreshing because it focused on tactical gameplay alone and did a relatively good job at that, and also added rather extensive army customization and the possibility for very different army compositions. (.)I kind of have to agree to all of the above. You have to be smart when in battles, because if your not on a map with refill points or a reinforcement map, any losses you take you can not get them back. Or have a fast army, but does not do as much damage. You also had to think on your toes, with artillary that had the power to decimate armies, you would have to choose if you want to have a power house army with was slow but tough to kill. Or have an advanced army with minor heroes. You would have to choose between having an overly powerful group of leaders and a small army. It compensated for the lack of base building with the sheer amount of customization that you can do on your units. (.) Yes it may have had bugs, but it made you think a lot more then most strategic games did. also SKEVAN! a race that any can come to love.

#Warhammer mark of chaos series#
Unlike in the Dawn of War series certain races add comedy to the game. The armies were extremely detailed and the voice acting was top notched. Yes it may have had bugs, but it made you think a lot more then most strategic games did. In a bad way.Got to say that you are the wrong one here. Got to say that you are the wrong one here.
